I am running an AMD Barton 2500+ however it is over clocked to 3200+ - runs smoothly, usually does not exceed 45 degrees in heat.

Running with 1024 DDR400 (Dual Channelled) RAM - Low latency, I couldn't live without this amount of RAM, where has it been all my life?

Standard IDE 7200RPM HDDs, nicely done, have one 80GB Seagate and one 30GB WD.

Geforce FX 5900 128 Graphics card, hasn

10K sata.. those are the Raptors right? they are kinda expensif and also a bit loud I guess.. dunno if it's worth it? :P

But if I would get a new PC I would also go for an AMD 64 4000+ =o.. But you rly don't need that with your 2500+@3200+... I mean look at me with My 1200.. I would be uber happy to have what you have atm =)

Adam,

Not at all, the Winchester IIRC is the Introductory Processor to 64bit. When the AMD 64bit processors were first released they included 1MB of onboard cache, you will now pay a fair bit more for the extra 512KB Cache.

The best performing 64bit processor around is the FX55 - while being the best performing processor on the block it is also the most expensive.
