Bringing Value To Your Community

Recommended Posts

There are many sites that start off and look for new user activity but really do not offer there users anything in return. If you are looking to build a successful community you must look at different way to bring new found value to your members. Some sites offer a google adsense profit share. This is offered so many places that it is really not as effective or as "special" as it used to be.

This is something every webmaster should think about, but especially if you are running a community based website. We are adding value to our site by offering free help in many instances and a community of webmasters to learn and share. Adding a free blogging platform, article directory, free webmaster marketplace and our newest download section are just some of the ways Massive Links has decided to add value to our community.

Always looking for new way to make this site a great resource to the community, so let us know if you have any idea of how we can make the Massive Links Forum even better!

I wouldn't mind seeing more contests actually. I missed out on all of the old contests. We could even have a "Invite your friend" contest, or something like that but with a twist in that the friends you invite have to post like five times at least or something. The winner gets like a eBook or money or whatever. That's just my idea though.

Helping tendency on part of the forum members will certainly enhance the value of the community. More members will join the forum if they come to know that the forum mixes well with the members.

At the end of the day the posters should feel that they have learned something after spending some time on the forums. They would certainly add value to the forums by their mere stay in the forums.

It is and should be either FUn or the information and help available that keeps people coming back and joining a forum.

Prizes and cash are bribes and those that like this will move on when the prizes stop.
